HTTP_Download::setContentType

HTTP_Download::setContentType() – Set content type

Synopsis

mixed HTTP_Download::setContentType ( string $content_type = 'application/x-octetstream' )

Description

Set a reasonable content type for the download.

Examples:

  • application/pdf

  • application/zip

  • text/css

Returns PEAR_Error if $content_type doesn't seem to be valid.

Parameter

  • string $content_type = 'application/x-octetstream' - a reasonable content type

Return value

Returns TRUE on success, PEAR_Error on failure.

Note

This function can not be called statically.
